Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Newsom’s latest statewide “Stay at Home” mandate… I have decided to postpone all elective cosmetic and non-emergency procedures for the next several weeks. The protection and safety of my patients and staff is my highest priority.
Beginning today, Tuesday, March 24th, 2020, we will be emphasizing virtual consultations instead of in-person office visits. I will still be available for in-office visits as needed for urgent issues, post-op visits, and emergencies. We feel this change keeps up with the CDC recommended social-distancing practice.
My staff and I will still hold the following in-office hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm). Patients interested in a virtual visit for medication refills, (including Accutane), evaluating skin lesions and moles (photos can be sent to us for review), and all other Dermatology issues, can enter their number on the message screen, under Dr. Bak’s photo, on the main page of our website. Klara is the program our office is using to communicate securely with our patients.
You can also call our office at 818-238-2350 to schedule a virtual consultation. We thank you in advance for your understanding, support, and wish you all to stay well!
