Microneedling

Microneedling is a skin treatment that involves an electric skin needling device that contains 12 very fine needles. The device is used to break down old scar tissue and facilitate skin cell generation, which creates new layers of elastin and collagen fiber. This new growth leads to improved blood flow in the skin and creates fuller brighter looking skin.

Microneedling is ideal for people who have skin irregularities they want to diminish, such as mild to moderate acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, poor skin texture, large pore size, stretch marks, rosacea, melasma, UV damage, and hyperpigmentation.

This treatment gives a light tingling, or “prickly” sensation, and may provide a temporary reddening for up to 24-48 hours post treatment. It may also create a sensation similar to a mild sunburn. Pinpoint bleeding that can occur with a deeper treatment, usually only leaves redness and mild inflammation for 2-4 days. Optimal result is achieved with a series of treatments.
