The Sellas fractional laser is a new kind of skin treatment that eliminates pigmented epidermal cells and stimulates collagen remodeling. This laser was developed in Korea and was originally designed for Asian and Hispanic skin as it is effective on darker complexions that are limited in treatment options due to hyper and hypo-pigmentation. Treatment
Each treatment lasts approximately 20 minutes and requires only a topical numbing cream. Most patients experience some heat and moderate prickling during treatment. Optimum results are acquired with a minimum series of 3-5 treatments.
Recovery
A redness of the treatment area only lasts a few hours. Increased power settings are used with each treatment which may cause additional swelling lasting up to one day.
