We offer the Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide System for pain relief and anxiety during procedures in our office.
Pro-Nox delivers patients 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide gas mist through a mask. Nitrous oxide is a colorless gas commonly used for sedation and pain relief. In addition, it has been an anxiety and pain suppression remedy during short surgeries or dental procedures for over 100 years.
You use a hand-held tube with an on-demand valve that only delivers gases when you inhale. This gas is released into your mask when you inhale. Pro-Nox is non-addictive and non-invasive. You can use the Pro-Nox system during your aesthetic procedures for greater comfort. Our staff will take you through the process, and we will tell you what to expect during and after your treatment.
Pro-Nox is used to calm anxious patients and ease feelings of pain during procedures. Oxygen and nitrous oxide gases act as a sedative during outpatient and short medical aesthetic procedures. You can also use Pro-Nox during non-surgical procedures like laser or radiofrequency micro needling or micro needling treatments.
Benefits of Pro-Nox are:
- Rapid onset
- Patient administered
- No driver needed to take you home
